Q) What is the difference between Private Insurance and Socialized Medicine?
A) The short answer is that with Private Insurance, premiums are paid to a business that pays for medical claims as outlined in a contract, as opposed to government controlled coverage whereby the premiums are paid in the form of taxes.
Q) So which is better?
A) This is an ongoing debate. I can give lots of reasons that private coverage is better most of the time. What is your opinion?

I believe that private insurance affords you more flexibilty with medical care than a government controlled system. However, something must be done to keep to costs of this care in control. Perhaps that's where the government can come in.
People need to understand the foolishness the Clintons and others would have them buy into. There is no insurance like private insurance. " You get what you pay for" if you pay nothibng you get nothing! Just look North at Canada.
agree. we don't want to become like Canada. Just go to a clinic and wait 3 hours to see a doctor that hardly speaks English....
